Lamar Odom eyeing place in Team USA for London Olympics

Washington, May 2 (ANI): Lamar Odom is set to take a break from reality TV to focus on making it to the US basketball squad for the London Olympic Games this summer.

The NBA star and his wife Khloe Kardashian have decided not to make a new series of their show 'Khloe and Lamar' in the immediate future, with Khloe revealing that one of her husband's main ambitions is to make the Team USA Olympic basketball squad.

"Lamar and I have chosen ... to take a break this summer. ... We just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family time, kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now," Contactmusic quoted Khloe as telling 'Entertainment Tonight'.

Odom also spoke on taking their time off for a while.

"We just want to be happy. We'll take our time and we'll get back to it when it's time," he added.

Odom left the Dallas Mavericks last month and is hoping for a trade at the end of the season, and although the couple won't be starring in their own show any time soon, they will make "occasional" appearances on the family's main programme, 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'. (ANI)
