Rio deJaneiro, April 26 (IANS) Former Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano feels his current club Sao Paulo is all set to return to the top of Brazilian football after three seasons without a trophy.

Sao Paulo, one of only five teams to have never been relegated from Brazil's top division, has not won anything since securing its third successive national league title in 2008.

The club will play Ponte Preta Thursday for a spot in the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil followed by Sunday's semifinal of the Sao Paulo championship against Santos, reports Xinhua.

'We are feeling the pressure because it has been so long since we last won anything,' said the Brazilian international, who also played for Sao Paulo from 2001 to 2004.

'Let's see if we have what it takes to be champions. I think we do because this team has quality, this is our year.'

Fabiano returned to Brazil last year after 148 appearances and 72 goals for Spanish club Sevilla between 2005 and 2011.

He has represented Brazil 43 times, scoring 28 goals.
