Washington, Mar 29 (ANI): Nick Cannon, who is renewing his wedding vows with wife Mariah Carey next month, has jokingly said that he is doing so in order to prove to himself that their union is "real".
The 'America's Got Talent' host married the singer on the beach outside her home in the Bahamas on April 30 2008 and they have renewed their vows every year since.
Cannon, 31, admits that the ceremony helps him appreciate their union more.
"We get married every year; it's our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real!" Contactmusic quoted him as telling Life and Style magazine.
This year, the couple are planning an even bigger celebration because their twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe turn one on the same day, so the babies will be involved in the festivities, though Carey and Cannon are also setting aside quality time for one another.
"It's gonna be big. So it's a family day.
"We'll celebrate with them during the day and just the two of us at night," he added. (ANI)
