London, Mar 16(ANI): Chelsea would face Portugal's Benfica in the last eight of Champions League this season.
Chelsea would play the first leg away at Benfica on 28th March and will play the second leg at home on 4th April, which is considered as a positive for Chelsea.
In the other draws, which were announced on 16th March in Nyon, defending champions Barcelona would meet Italian champions AC Milan in the quarterfinals, whereas Real Madrid would meet surprise entry Apoel Nicosia from Cyprus.
German giants Bayern Munich would have to overcome the challenge of French outfit Marseille to reach the semifinals, and eventually reach the finals in Munich.
The prospect of an all-Spanish final is still on. And, if Chelsea were to get through their quarter final and then beat Barca in the semis, they could have a date with old friend Jose Mourinho in the final. (ANI)
