Washington, Feb 10 (ANI): Chad Ochocinco has told his friends that he wants to get his last name changed back to Johnson, before his wedding this summer because he does not want his wife to have a made-up surname.
Ochocinco's wedding to his fiancee Evelyn Lozada is set for July in Florida, and according to sources, the wide receiver plans to legally change his last name back to the one he was born with before that, TMZ.com reported.
Lozada reportedly doesn't care what name she ends up with - Johnson or Ochocinco - the choice is entirely up to him, but it seems that he has already made up his mind.
In honour of Hispanic Heritage Month, when his last name was still Johnson, the footballer had announced on October 25, 2006 that he would prefer to be called "Ocho Cinco", which is "eight five" in Spanish. (ANI)
