Kuala Lumpur, April 8 (ANI): Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MAICCI) President K.K. has said that the Malay- Indian community must stay united to achieve a better economy and a better quality of life.
Speaking at the 6th forum of the Malaysian Indian Economic Conference (MIEC), he said that unity among Malay- Indians was very important, without which they would not achieve anything, The Star reports.
The association is organizing eight nationwide forums, and the next two will be held in Seremban (April 15) and Ipoh (April 21), as part of its efforts to help transform the Indian community's economic landscape.
The aim of the free forum is to provide a platform for Indians to voice their concerns and discuss business opportunities and challenges with experts.
Eswaran expressed confidence over the resolution of issues affecting the community and said: "The findings will be submitted to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during our national programme in May." He also thanked Najib for the allocations given to Tamil schools. (ANI)
