Islamabad, Mar 5 (ANI): Jamiat Ulema Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the struggle to implement Sharia across Pakistan will continue.
Those who oppose the move are criminals, The Dawn quoted Rehman, as saying.
Pakistan, he said, cannot be freed from what he called the slavery of foreign powers because of incompetent rulers.
He said that slogan of roti (food), kapra (clothes) and makan (house) had given nothing to the masses. He also accused the Awami National Party of snatching pens and books from children and giving them guns.
The JUI-F leader said he wanted early elections but these should be fair, free and transparent and held under an independent election commission. (ANI)
