The organization was founded in the year 1926. The UPSC is situated at the Sholapur House on Shah Jahan Road in New Delhi. Presently UPSC conducts examination like civil services, CDS, NDA/NA and combined medical service.
The provision for UPSC has been given in the constitution under Articles 315 to 323 of Part XIV of the constitution. The UPSC is doing a great role by providing the government with suitable candidate
