Nevada Clergy Association (NCA) has nominated acclaimed Hindu leader Rajan Zed as its Director of Public Affairs and Interfaith Relations.
Announcing the nomination today, Right Reverend Gene Savoy Jr., NCA President, in a statement in Nevada, said, "Mr. Rajan Zed is well known for his efforts in spreading the message of love and peace and we are very proud of Mr. Zed because of his outstanding contributions in social, religious, and humanitarian causes. He is a Hindu leader of world stature and we are lucky to have him in Nevada."
Nevada Clergy Association is composed of priests/pastors/ministers/etc. of Christian (various denominations like Roman Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, Anglican, Latter-Day Saints, etc.), Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Baha'i, Native American, etc., religions in Nevada state of United States of America (USA).
Rajan Zed is the president of Universal Society of Hinduism and has received various honours for his interfaith work. He is one of the panelists for "On Faith", a prestigious interactive conversation on religion produced jointly by Newsweek and washingtonpost.com, He is Spiritual Advisor to National Association of Interchurch and Interfaith Families.
