Aug 07: US President George W. Bush and President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai are agree over the topic to eradicate terrorism from the globe and they will work jointly to fight Al Qaeda that is restoring its root near the Pakistan and Afghanistan Border. Karzai met President Bush on Camp David, the rest place of Bush to solve the problem of terrorism and development in Afghanistan. The meeting continues till two days in Camp David, Maryland on Sunday and Monday. They also discussed over the controversial topic ‘The Role of Iran in Afghanistan’. Bush is not agree with Karzai as Karzai characterized Iran as "a helper”, while ‘ Iran is not a trustworthy country’, according to Bush.
It was a rare moment of daylight when both the leader met and seriously discussed over the globalization of terrorism, especially Al Qaeda group, which is being the cause of headache for both the countries and now for other countries too. A national intelligence has recently observed that Al Qaeda network had reestablished itself in the mountainous territory along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Karzai was very furious over Qaeda quoting it as ‘Cowardice’, he said to the reporters, “It's a force that is defeated, frustrated, acting in cowardice by killing children going to school.” He warned that Taliban could be still very dangerous for the Afghanis as well as for the other countries.
US President Bush is very disappointed for not hunting Al-Qaeda and other top leaders, but hopes to be succeed soon. For this the UNO military is running a search operation in Afghanistan and other countries, especially on the mountainous territory and Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Karzai was not pleased with these operations as many innocent civilized people had been killed so far in these operations. But Bush thinks that only Talibanies are liable behind all the death as they use the general public as the shield tools. “They are ‘Cold-blooded Killers’.”, Bush said.
There were another serious topics discussed in the meeting about the role of Iran in Afghanistan. Hamid Karzai has praised Tehran for its rescue operation in Afghanistan and called Iran as a ‘helper’ as Iran has sent workers to Afghanistan to provide aid to villages, while Bush denies this opinion of Karzai, according to him, “The president knows best about what's taking place in his country, and of course, I'm willing to listen. But from my perspective, the burden of proof is on the Iranian government to show us that they're a positive force”.
President Bush has funded $10 billion for making stronger security infrastructure of the country to Hamid Karzai after the meeting. It is expected that Bush will meet to Pakistan president General Parvez Musharraf along with Hamid Karzai to discuss over this topic in Jirga, an assembly of leaders from their nations.
