New Delhi, July 10 (ANI): Samajwadi Party leader Raj Babbar today promised Congress President Sonia Gandhi that he would support the government on the Indo-US nuclear deal.
"The government is in crisis, and no bargaining should take place in such a situation," he said after his meeting with Sonia Gandhi.
He said the Congress policy on the nuclear agreement was in the country's favour.
He also disclosed that he would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Fatehpur Sikri and not on a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket.
Babbar also favoured the developmental policies pursued by the Congress-led UPA.
"I am not into wheeling-dealing. I am a small politician and not powerful enough to make any demand," he added. (ANI)
