July 14: Iran has allowed the UN inspectors to visit it’s under-construction heavy water reactor at Arak by the end of this July as this Islamic Republic wants to convince the United Nations that all the atomic reactors of this republic is only for peace and development of the country. That’s why the Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran became ready to provide a ground to International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA for visiting on the site.
Mohamed ElBaradei, the Director General of IAEA has confirmed this information that Iran has been agreed to co-operate the team of nuclear investigators. “Islamic Republic had promised the key concession in a meeting between its officials and a senior delegation from the Vienna-based agency this week”, said IAEA.
Iranian diplomats also want to solve disputes over the demand to inspect its uranium enrichment plant at Natanz, by setting a deadline, which may be till early August as UN has imposed the atomic ban on Iran in the suspense of developing nuclear weapons. Besides this Iran is also ready to answer the questions regarding its nuclear development program either done in the past or will be done in the future.
UNO has called the IAEA agency for ensuring that weather Iran is using Plutonium or Uranium as IAEA is the only world recognised agency that do the job of nuclear investigation on the international level.
The delegates were agreed when Deputy Director of IAEA for safeguards, Olli Heinonen visited to Tehran this week. “During the visit, agreement was reached on ... a visit of agency inspectors to the Heavy Water Research Reactor at Arak by the end of July 2007”, said ElBaradei. This is the third round call of nuclear investigation. Before this, UN Security Council had imposed two rounds of sanctions to get Tehran to stop enriching uranium. The investigation process began in February 2003 but Iraq stopped to do further cooperation to the investigating team when team had suspected on Iran’s nuclear reactors and its process.
Iran claims that its nuclear reactors is only for producing electricity and other developing purpose while the UN Security Council suspects that those reactors are extremely big and can not be used only for producing electricity and other peaceful purpose, these can be applied in making destructive arms. UN is also doubtful about Iran’s Plutonium enrichment as Iran says that our plutonium enrichment is used in the medical and power development sector while UN suspects that the measurement of enriching Plutonium is extremely high for the medical and nuclear power production purpose. Iran can use this plutonium in the development of nuclear weapons.
UN Diplomats still not sure over Iran's decision to renew co-operation with the UN inspectors, as the Iranian leadership is still refusing the main UN demand of halting uranium enrichment at its Natanz plant.
As it is known that both plutonium and enriched uranium are radioactive elements and can be used for making nuclear bombs that are highly destructive and the rays of these radioactive elements can be exists several decades. The explosion and the rays can jointly clears the life on the mass level that can never be fulfilled.
