Lucknow, Nov 19 (IANS) In yet another crude bomb blast in an Uttar Pradesh court, an explosion occured in Sultanpur district Wednesday evening, police said, adding nobody was hurt.
The explosion took place in the electricity meter device outside the chief judicial magistrate's court in Sultanpur district, 100 km from here.
“Initial investigations hint mischievous elements could be behind the incident trying to disrupt court proceedings,' Superintendent of Police D.C. Mishra told IANS over telephone.
A fire cracker placed near the electricity meter box went off, leading to the blast, he added.
Similar incidents were also reported on Nov 14 and 15 at the district court of the state capital Lucknow after fire crackers exploded in the washroom.
“A terror activity is ruled out,' Mishra added.
