Delhi’s Salwan Boys School made their way into the semis of the Boost Cricket Cup inter-city challenge as they defeated St. John’s JC, Hyderabad by a massive margin of 151 runs. Nitesh Rana (105 n.o.) scored an unbeaten century while Shakti Singh (3/55) and Yatharth Tomar (3/ 30) picked up three wickets each to guide Delhi into the semis.
Swami Vivekanand also made it into the semis, despite losing the match, due to its earlier wins. Santhome, Chennai and DAV, Chandigarh are the other two teams that completed the semifinal line-up. In the semifinals, Swami Vivekanand will play Santhome, Chennai while DAV, Chandigarh will fight it out with Salwan Boys, Delhi.

In the other match of the day, fine century knock played by S. Dinesh (122) and a deadly bowling spell by M. Ashwin three for 6 enabled Santhome HSS, Chennai to beat Santhome HSS, Chennai by 172 runs to move into the semifinals.
