Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) member and India’s ace golfer Jyoti Randhawa is right on track in pursuit of a major title of his career as he headed into the final round of the Maybank Malaysian Open with a tied third position in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

The world no. 72, Randhawa shot 70 in the third round to be tied third along with Englishman Simon Dyson and Denmark’s Soren Kjeldsen. The three golfers have a total of fourteen under 202 and they trail the leader by three strokes.

Sweden’s Peter Hedblom (66, 68, 65) is currently holding the third round lead with an overall score of seventeen under 199. Argentine Daniel Vancsik (65, 72, 64) is in second position, two strokes behind Hedblom.

The second round was completed earlier on Saturday with all those professionals whose rounds were held up due to the lightning storm on Friday, went ahead and finished their rounds.
