London, Jan 6 (ANI): Norah Jones has reunited with estranged long-term partner Lee Alexander strictly for professional reasons, as they come out with their second album by the country-flavoured band Little Willies.
The Little Willies is where Norah shakes off the pressure that comes from living up to her 37 million-selling solo career with classic tunes by Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn among others, the Mirror reported.
"It's a great way for us to stay close," Indian sitar player, Ravi Shankar's daughter Norah said.
"We're like family and always will be, but it's been a blast - and very free of drama," she stated.
The 32-year-old said that they are not 'trying to reinvent the wheel here.'
"These songs are old standards, tried and true. It's just a bar band really. I get to play piano on every song, sing a lot of harmonies," Jones said.
"I've learned I have to have more fun being a girl and playing dress-up sometimes. I wasn't always like that, but as you get older you get a little bit more comfortable with yourself," she added. (ANI)
