London, Dec 27 (ANI): Nicole Scherzinger has hinted that she might leave the music based reality show 'The X-factor' as she wishes to concentrate on her music.
During an interview with RadarOnline, the former Pussycat Doll revealed that next year she would solely focus on her music.
"Next year for me, it's about my music," the Mirror quoted her as saying.
"I didn't expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process.
"I wanted to just mentor and empower artists," she said.
F1 ace Lewis Hamilton's former lover also said that she was "an artist first, not a judge first".
"I am an artist first, not a judge first," she said.
Her single, Don't Hold Your Breath from her first solo album Killer Love, topped the UK charts but hasn't yet released in the US, for which she holds the show responsible.
"The reason my album hasn't come out yet is because of The X Factor. It's been so time consuming.
"I work with these contestants six days a week. So I delayed the album, but I was able to perform one of my new singles last week," she added. (ANI)
