New Delhi, Dec 25 (ANI): President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari have greeted the people of the country on the joyous occasion of Christmas.
President Patil in her message said: "On the occasion of Christmas, I send my greetings and good wishes to all my fellow citizen."
"Christmas is a time of great joy, cheer, hope and happiness. It proclaims Lord Jesus Christ's message of love and sacrifice, compassion and service, courage and humility, peace and harmony," she added.
Vice President Ansari in his message said that Christmas is an occasion to imbibe the divine teachings of Lord Jesus Christ and spread joy and happiness.
"I extend my greetings and best wishes to all our citizens on the joyous occasion of Christmas. Christmas is an occasion to imbibe the divine teachings of Lord Jesus Christ and spread joy and happiness," said Vice President Ansari.
"The festival also signifies the ideals of brotherhood, love and compassion. May this festival inspire us to work tirelessly for the progress of our nation," he added. (ANI)
