New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): Karan A Chanana, the chairman of the food grain manufacturer Amira Group, has been conferred the "Power Brands Hall of Fame Corporate Icon of the Year".
Chanana was honoured for his contribution in the Food Industry and demonstrated Leadership and Excellence in establishing an International Brand Identity and in turn become an Indian media vehicle globally.
Amira group, which had turn over of 300 million dollars in the last financial year, was also awarded the 'Global Growth Company' by the World Economic Forum.
Speaking on the occasion Karan Chanana, Chairman The Amira Group, thanked his team members for making the firm achieve success.
"I am glad and very honoured to have received this recognition for Brand Amira and Corporate Leader Award. I want to thank all my team members for making this happen," he said.
"It's because of their belief andefforts that today Brand Amira are being recognised as a POWER BRANDamongst such a fine audience. Once again I would thank the organizers of the event; my colleagues back home in officeand dear friends out here. Thank you very much," he added.
The Brand AMIRA, established in 1915, has its strong presence in over 22 countries Worldwide was recognised the Indian Power Brand. (ANI)
