Muzaffarnagar, Dec 13 (ANI): Dozens of fire engines were deployed to douse a raging fire that engulfed a paper mill at an industrial estate in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar District in the early morning hours.
The fire broke out at around 2:30 am and spread across the entire area, which is believed to have included other factories.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained though Rajesh Jain, the owner of the mill, said he had complained about a short circuit in the wires running through the industrial estate but nothing had been done to repair it.
"At around 2.30 or 3 am I got a call that the factory has caught fire. There was sparking and a short circuit in the high tensile bolt line that is running through here," said Jain.
No casualties have been reported but the property has suffered extensive damage. (ANI)
