Ramanathapuram /Madurai, Sep 11 (ANI): At least three people were killed in police firing in Paramakudi in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram District on Sunday, where the people were protesting against the detention of John Pandian.
Pandian's detention sparked an immediate agitation by dalits, who pelted stones, set shops, police vehicles and buses ablaze.
Meanwhile, at least two people were also injured in police firing in Madurai. (ANI)
