New Delhi, Sep 3(ANI): The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has started campaigning for the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) polls.
The student organization said that it is campaigning in two groups so that maximum colleges can be covered in minimum time.
"One group consists of presidential candidate Neha Singh and candidate for secretary Vikas Yadav. Today this group campaigned at Vishwavidyalay metro station and covered Aditi, Sradhanand, Guru Gobind Singh and Laxmibai College," an ABVP statement said.
"The second group comprises of Vikas Choudhary who is contesting for vice-president and joint-secretary candidate Deepak Bansal. This group visited students in north campus," it added.
The statement also said that during campaigning, Neha Singh raised the demand of opening new colleges in the university.
She also blamed the Congress government for not opening new colleges in the last 12 years, it said. (ANI)
