London, Aug.5 (ANI): Damon Hill reckons that both Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button can challenge current leader Sebastian Vettel for the 2011-12 Formula One title.
Speaking exclusively to SunSport, Hill said he appreciated the fact that Vettel is miles ahead in the standings, but cautioned that "we should "never say never" about the possibility of Hamilton catching him."
Hill, speaking just before Button's sensational win in Hungary, also saluted McLaren star Jenson's victory in Canada as "one of the greatest drives of all time."
He said: "F1 is relentlessly competitive and it's clear McLaren and Ferrari are clawing back Red Bull's early advantage."
Hill, now guiding the racing career of his 20-year-old son Josh, grinned as he referred to his former nemesis Michael Schumacher as "the old boy". (ANI)
