New Delhi, June 25(ANI): Veteran social activist Anna Hazare and key figures in his campaign against corruption have begun meeting political parties to garner support for their version of the Lokpal Bill.
On Friday, three civil society group members of the joint drafting committee on the Lokpal Bill-Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia-met Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani at his residence in New Delhi.
During the meeting, it was reportedly decided that ahead of the July 3 all-party meeting, BJP leaders would hold a briefing and discussion with the civil society members of the committee.
The Central government has called an all-party meeting to evolve a consensus on the Bill.
The meeting will be convened by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
It is expected that both drafts of the Bill will be presented before the political parties. (ANI)
