Sachin unlike, Ponting out of Twenty20 clash

As the young T20 champion side of India is set to face another biggest clash Twenty20 cricket diary, two of the biggest players Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting are unlikely to have a face in the only clash of India Australia cricket series at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Sachin Tendulkar though attained the entire practice session but considering the T20 a young man’s game

Meanwhile, the Cricket Australia has made it confirmed that Ponting is suffering a back injury and hence kept out from the Friday’s T20 cricket keeping in mind the ODI series.

He has been replaced by Brad Hodge on the third spot to strengthen Aussies batting line-up and Michael Clarke will lead the team against India, the champion of inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa last year.

As far as Indian team composition is concerned star batsman Yuvraj Singh would not be able to play due to injury in this match and also the first One-Day match of the Commonwealth Bank Tri-Series starting from February 03.
