London, May 11(ANI): Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been dubbed a legend in the making by his teammates Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard.
Suarez is already a cult figure just four months into his Anfield career, and was crucial in Monday's 5-2 demolition of Fulham in their Premier League encounter.
Carragher said that if the 24-year-old keeps playing like he currently does, "he will be a bigger legend than I'll ever be".
"He has been absolutely fantastic and settled in really well. You can see in training every day that he is a top player and he looks the part, too. He is so strong, quick and has really made a difference. He has given everyone a lift," The Sun quoted Carragher, as saying.
"I hope I'm not getting too carried away, but I think his performances prove he's going to be a real player for Liverpool for years to come," he added.
Meanwhile, Gerrard said that the Uruguay hitman is a midfielder's dream and an absolute joy to watch.
"As soon as you look up he's making great movement and gives you an option all the time. But what is impressing me even more is when he has not got the ball, with his tenacity to win it back and his attitude," Gerrard said.
"It's natural to compare him to Carlos Tevez, because of his build, his shape and the way he plays. I will be biased because Luis is on my team, but from what I've seen for me I think he can go on to be better. I can't wait to play alongside him next season," he added.
Suarez had moved to Liverpool from Ajax for 23 million pounds in January, briefly becoming the club's most expensive player. (ANI)
