New Delhi, Mar 10(ANI): The Lok Sabha on Thursday was adjourned for the day, following the death of sitting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), MP from Bastar district Baliram Kashyap.
Kashyap, 76, took his last breath around 3:15 a.m. at Ramkrishna Care Hospital after fighting over a month-long illness related to lungs and kidneys.
The house adjourned after paying tributes to the leader.
A four-time member of the Lok Sabha from Bastar in Chhattisgarh, Kashyap had also served as minister in the Madhya Pradesh government.
His last rites will be performed this evening at his native village Farsa Bura in Bastar. (ANI)
