London, Feb 19 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina has said that her daughter faces a 'life-long' battle against addiction.
The 48-year-old said she believes the troubled 'Mean Girls' actress has made progress, but still has a long way to go.
"I believe [that Lindsay doesn't drink anymore], and I think it's going to be a lifelong struggle with addiction. But I think she's going to be OK," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling ABC's Good Morning America.
The mom, who once forgot how many times her daughter had been to rehab during a live television appearance, appeared on GMA and also pre-recorded an interview set to air on 20/20 tonight.
"She's a young girl struggling. You know, she's not perfect. She's learning as she goes, but she's learning under a microscope, so I can't even imagine how that is," she added.
Dina also said she was surprised when Charlie Sheen offered her daughter advice. He's 45-odd years old and Lindsay's 24 and I don't know why they compare [him to my daughter]. I just think that Lindsay took his advice, and gave him advice as well," she said. (ANI)
