New Delhi, 14 December. BJP delegation led by Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha President Yogita Singh met National Commission for Women President Rekha Sharma and complained against CM Arvind Kejriwal for violating the right to privacy. The delegation submitted a memorandum seeking action in the matter. The delegation included Delhi BJP Vice President Barkha Singh, State Mahila Morcha former President Poonam Parashar Jha, State Spokesperson Adv. Pooja Suri, Standing Committee former Chairperson Shikha Rai and Advocate Anubhav Bhardwaj. NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma assured action by taking the matter into cognizance.
State Mahila Morcha President Yogita Singh said that, the corporation leaders, including female leaders, outside CM's residence, have been holding a peaceful protest for the last 8 days demanding release of the corporation's dues. CM Kejriwal is employing covert tactics to pressurize the female corporation leaders to get up from the dharna by installing cameras in place of women sitting and sleeping, in turn making women leaders sitting on dharna uncomfortable. This shows CM Kejriwal's low mentality towards women.
Yogita Singh said that, the CM who used to praise his promises about the safety of women, made those women feel insecure in order to keep an eye on the women leaders of the corporation. He said that if there is any morality left in CM Kejriwal, he should apologize not only to the women of Delhi but the entire country for violating the privacy of the women leaders of the corporation sitting on the dharna.
