Hockey India congratulates her on her accomplishment
New Delhi, 12 April 2015: Lilima achieved an unforgettable milestone in her hockey career by appearing in her 50th International caps while representing the Indian Women Team against the China yesterday in the Hawke's Bay Cup 2015 in New Zealand.
The 21-year old Lilima is one of the talented women's hockey players to emerge from Odisha. From controlling midfield to attacking with other forward players, the Lilima does it all with sheer perfection.
Congratulating Lilima Minz on her achievement, Secretary General Hockey India Mr. Mohd Mushtaque Ahmad said, “Hockey India takes utmost pride in congratulating Lilima Minz on the accomplishment of 50 international caps. I wish her all the best for the ongoing Hawke's Bay Cup and hope to see more of similar high quality performances from her in future."
Lilima is a regular member of the team and has been an integral part of the team. She was a key member in the recently concluded Hero Hockey World League Round 2 in New Delhi 2015, 17th Asian Games 2014 in Incheon, 20th Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow and 2014 FIH Champions Challenge I.
