24th October is celebrated as the United Nations Day and the organisation recommends this day as a public holiday.
Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has conveyed his greetings on the occasion of the United Nations Day.
"I convey my greetings on @UN Day. It is a day to celebrate the achievements
of the UN & look at a roadmap for the future….
Need of the hour is for all @UN member nations to work together & further the
cause of world peace & prosperity in the years to come" Shri Narendra Modi said
in his tweets.
The United Nations day is being celebrated throughout the world with meetings, discussions and exhibits.
