Rohit an Shikhar gave a strong start but couldn't cultivate it into big inning falling for 39 and 28 runs respectively. Star batsman Kohli and Rahane were dismissed for mere 6 and 3 runs respectively and India looked in all sorts of trouble. Raina and Dhoni tried to stable the inning but Raina got out pulling a short ball. Dhoni complete his 53rd ODI fifty but was dismissed instantly thanks to a marvelous catch by Guptil.
