International College of Financial Planning and International College of Fashion is all set to take a new leap, as the University of Mysore signed the MoU with the college, pronouncing International College of Financial Planning as an out-reach center providing Super Specialised programmes.
International College of Financial Planning will offer a master's programme in Financial Planning, Financial Analysis, Fashion Entrepreneurship and a bachelors programme in Fashion Entrepreneurship in association with University of Mysore, from September 2013.
"These super specialised programmes are first of its kind in the country to provide an understanding of professional development and research based study process from the initial stages of higher education through Case Study based teaching process," said ICoFP chief mentor, Ms. Jaivani Bajaj.
The programme will enable students to design and manage projects, critically evaluate data and lead multidisciplinary teams. It will also help students gain valuable business and management expertise required for senior positions in both the Financial and Fashion Industry.
The super specialized programmes are Industry oriented, which has the students to attend classroom sessions during the first two semesters and allows them to be placed in the industry of the 3rd and the 4th semester, with classes held over the weekend. This will enable the students to get maximum out of their learnings here at ICoFP and also an opportunity to earn while still in college.
