The Uttar Pradesh government has announced the recruitment of 10,000 teachers for its basic education schools, an official said Thursday.
The recruitment process fro the selection of teachers would begin from Oct 15, and would be completed by Dec 15. The orders were issued by Basic Education Secretary Niteshwar Kumar late Wednesday.
Candidates eligible for the posts would be selected on the basis of special BTC (basic training certificate), the Urdu equivalent of BTC and those who have successfully passed the teachers eligibility test (TET).
The basic education council of the state has been asked to complete the recruitment process of recruitment and appointment of teachers within two months of the start of the process and prepare a schedule accordingly, officials told. They said the recruitment would be done online.
The recruitment drive will fulfill 10,000 posts in schools across the state in which the maximum number of posts will be available from districts like Siddharthanagar, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Balrampur, Maharajganj, Chandauli and Kushinagar.
