New Delhi: The much awaited the election festival for Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) is all set to held on September 13 of this year. University has announced the notification in these regards.
According to University sources, election to the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) and central council will be held Sep 13.
DU registrar Alka Sharma said the nomination papers for the DUSU posts would be available from the DU website while for the central council could be obtained from the colleges and the departments concerned.
The last date for receiving of the nomination papers is Sept 4.
"The dates for the counting of votes and declaration of the result would be announced later," she added.
On Saturday, the varsity appointed the chief election commissioner and returning officer for the free and fair conduct of elections.
Needless to say, the DUSU election is of great important for not only DU campus, but it also remains in limelight for both the parties in center like Congress and BJP.
