The Committee for Members in Industry (CMII) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) has announced the dates for ICAI 2013 Campus Placement Programme for Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants August-September 2013, which has been scheduled from September 10 to 13 across different cities in India.
"This programme would provide an opportunity to the employers to interact with newly qualified Chartered Accountants peruse their particulars and recruit the suitable one in their organizations. An organisation and firms of Chartered Accountants may participate at one or more centres and recruit Chartered Accountants," said a statement released by ICAI.
"The CMII of ICAI organizes Campus Placement Programmes at 16 centres across the country in a corporate environment and the pre process of interview is highly technologically driven through placement portal http://placement.icai.org," it added.
The 16 centers, where the placement drive will take place are divided into two categories. The smaller centres include Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Nagpur and Pune, while the bigger centers include Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi
Thousand of students qualified for the ICAI examination 2013 are expected to appear for the placement to grab the best opportunities in some of the biggest firms of the country.
