BCCI has announced the Indian squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ishant Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav have been rested.
Virat Kohli will be leading the side. While Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been recalled to the squad, Jaidev Unadkat, Mohit Sharma and Parvez Rasool are the new entry in the team. This is the first time that a player from Jammu & Kashmir state (Parvez Rasool) will be playing the Indian National team.
Murli Vijay has been dropped from the team.
Regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is out with a hamstring injury which he suffered during India's first tri-series match against the West Indies.
India will play five One-Day Internationals (ODIs): three in Harare and two at Bulawayo against Zimbabwe between July 24 and Aug 3.
