The third day of India Bridal Fashion Week started with the showcase of international fame designers Falguni and Shane Peacock's collection entitled 'Garden of Eden' followed by the display of collections of patent holder of iconic Bandgala Jackets, and Jodhpurs 'Raghavendra Rathore' futuristic bridal collection.
The designer duo Falguni and Shane's collection showcased bridal and evening gowns full ghagras, anarkalis, farshi pyjamas, kalidaar saries teamed with bustier, halters and shrugs. Later, former Femina Miss India and Bollywood actress 'Neha Dhupia' sizzled the ramp dressed in a printed and embroidered black gown with an extended metallic belt.
Using myriad hues such as pistachio, pink, ivory, gold and combining them intricate silhouettes, Falguni and Shane's collection was intended to celebrate nature. Floral motifs, vintage laces and delicate feathers amalgamated with net, chiffon, and georgettes played the perfect back story for the collections.
Rathore's collection was more focused towards bandhgalas, fitted and dhoti pants, sarees, dresses, tuxedos, short and long jackets and kaftans. But the major surpise was for Rathore's show was showstopper superstar 'Anil Kapoor', who dazzled the ramp dressed up in a black kurta teamed with white churidar.
Rathore for first time stepped from traditional black and white for men's wear to bright colours like pink, magenta, burgundy, royal blue, maroon and red for his collection.
