St Xaviour College organized the enthusiastic Malhar 2013 – Zara Hatke which witnesses to be bigger and better show. It was a mega show with new events, an engrossing line up of speakers, overwhelming performances and inspiring exhibitions.
In fact it was the spirit of new ideas and possibilities. The moment, to let go all inhibitions. To be part of a change. Shatter, question, and break the conventions, the obvious that dominated our reality. Embrace the true self. As the beginning of everything great is something new. All this was a part of the event organized by the College to celebrate the 'Malhar'.
It is noted that Malhar has evolved over the years; it's dynamic, vibrant and ever changing. From such a humble beginning, having 1200 student organizers and 30,000 spectators who come from all over the country. The show was limitless, broadening organisation's horizon to attain an even bigger outcome which are always inventing and reinventing events, making the entire experience more ingenious.
Pooja Dewoolkar, Chairperson Malhar 2013, said, "This year we introduce not only new events but we are tweaking old events and bringing out something new. However , keeping in mind every person to encompass every spirit of participation."
Conclave, balances out Malhar to create a platform for the young enthusiasts to debate about relevant issues. There was a talk wihg intellectually stimulating by eminent personalities who have made a difference against all odds. We explore every facet, social causes which make Malhar a multi-dimensional fest. Vice- Chairperson (Conclave) - Chirag Goel says "This year Conclave aims to go a step ahead. With few structural changes, we aim to connect with a wider audience and discuss everyday issues."
Vice-Chaiperson, Management, Deanne Menezes throws light on this year's theme and said, 'Everyone is unique. It's just that we need to use whatever we have differently. So this year Malhar brings it out and celebrates change. So this Malhar we urge everyone to be who they truly want to be. To not only believe in the unfettered dreams but to take the chance. Think out-of-thebox, somersault over the boundary, stand confidently in the wings and wait for the spotlight to shine on you. Take charge of your ideas. Shatter the obvious."
