The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE 10th result 2013 in which a total number of 1257893 candidates were registered. The number of registered candidates increased by 6.67 % as compared to last year's registration.
Last year in 2012, the percentage of successful candidates in class 10th exam was 98.19, which jumped to 98.76 this year showing an increase of 0.57 percent.
This year all girls' performance remained superior than boys in CBSE class 10 results 2013 as the percentage of girls qualified for admission in higher classes is 98.94 as compared to that of boys which is 98.64 .
Chennai region maintained its top position in 2013 also with highest percentage of qualifying candidates that remained at 99.80%.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had conducted the class 10th board examination earlier this year from 1st March 2013 to 15th March 2013 and the results of Chennai region were declared on May 26.
However, CBSE 10th results 2013 for other regions (Allahabad, Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Delhi, Patna, Guwahati and Panchkula) were declared on May 30, 2013.
After the declaration of CBSE board 10th result 2013, CBSE has released the Result Statistics for every region.
