In a low scoring match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Pune Warriors India at Rajiv Gandhi International stadium yesterday, Sunrisers defeated the Warriors by 22-runs when South Africa's Dale Steyn took three wickets in a single over to finish the game in favour of Sunrisers Hyderabad. In addition to that, leg-spinner Amit Mishra also claimed three wickets for Sunrisers.
Batting first Sunrisers could manage only 126 for six from their 20 overs, which seemed an easy task to chase for Pune Warriors. Warriors started well as openers Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey contributed 36, when Uthappa lost his wicket to Thisara Perera.
Later, Marlon Samuels, Yuvraj Singh and Manish Pandey alos fell without contributing much and the warriors were never able to recover. Though, Ross Taylor and Abhishek Nayar took the charge but could not do much.
The story was concluded then by Steyn who bowled Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rahul Sharma with successive balls and later Ashok Dinda too to end the match. Warriors were bowled out for 104 in the 19th over.
