Pakistan's Test and one-day captain Misbah-ul-Haq denided his return to international Twenty20 tournaments even after finishing as the top scorer in Pakistan's premier domestic T20 competition.
Misbah was the top scorer with 206 in his board at an impressive average of 103 for the five matches, which led Faisalabad Wolves to win the final against the rivals Sialkot Stallions on Sunda. After victory Misbah said he will lead his hometown Wolves in this year's Champions League, Sport24 reports.
Misbah has retired from international Twenty20 last year after claiming 788 runs in 39 matches at an average of 37.52 saying that he is more inclined in playing ODIs and Test matches for Pakistan.
Misbah confirmed that he does not want to return back in international T20 games as he wants to pay his ful concentration in ODIs and Test formats. He also added that he would continue playing for the Faisalabad Wolves as it is his identity.
Pakistan is to play its next international match in the Champions Trophy to be held this June for which the team will fight against Scotland in two ODIs and Ireland next month.
