Last time Pune Warriors met with Sunrisers Hyderabad, in the 3rd match of Indian Premier League, Sunrisers defended a mere total of 126. Since then both teams have made progress, while Sunrisers have defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils, Warriors have upset Rajasthan Royals and mighty Chennai Super Kings.
Pune Warriors will now be looking for revenge when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 22nd match of IPL to be played at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune from 4pm.
At the start Pune batsmen were struggling to score but with the addition of Aaron Finch they have managed to put up 140+plus scores in their last three matches. Middle order has failed even though they have big all-rounders. Fielding has been below par as it was visible in CSK match where they dropped many catches.
Sunrisers have won 3 out of their 5 matches, mostly because of their bowlers. Batting has been a worry for Sunrisers too. If their batsmen can build a big score bowling has the capability to win matches for them. Sunrisers will be hoping for the same result when they previously met Pune.
