Last time Virat Kohli, captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore faced one of his senior Delhi counterparts he uttered abusive language and the world saw that he is not ready to be Indian captain.
Kohli will be facing another Delhi counterpart today, a more senior Virender Sehwag. Will the RCB captain demonstrate the same attitude against Sehwag as well is a big question?
Royal Challengers Bangalore will clash with Delhi Daredevils in the 21st match of Indian Premier league to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore from 8pm.
DD have last all their IPL matches this season and are going through a very bad phase. They are missing Kevin Pietersen and Jessy Rider, Unmukt Chand and Jayawardene hasn't performed, Warner has but in bits. Sehwag was missing in the first four matches of DD, he came back in the last match but didn't live up to the expectation.
Facing a strong batting line-up of RCB including Chris Gayle, Kohli and AB de Villiers will make the task even more difficult for Daredevils.
Gayle storm is unstoppable and even when it calms down one or the other team mates explodes. Batting has been a strength of RCB but bowling have failed them time and again. Recent example was against CSK match. RCB bowlers doesn't perform in death overs while batsmen tends to fail in crucial matches. Even with one of the strongest team of IPL, RCB hasn't lifted the cup yet.
With half of the IPL gone, Daredevils are at the bottom of the table with 0 points while RCB are 2nd in the table with 3 wins and 2 losses. Delhi needs a quick revival to come out of this misery.
