Australian team reached 109 for no loss in the first innings at lunch on the 2nd day of 3rd Test match against India being played at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium, Mohali on Friday.
Opening batsmen David Warner was batting on 54 and Ed Cowan on 43 after skipper Michael Clarke opted to bat after winning the toss.
The first day of the Test was washed out due to rain without a ball being bowled.
India made a change by dropping local hero Harbhajan Singh, who made way for Pragyan Ojha.
Shikhar Dhawan is making his Test debut with this match.
Australian also made four changes. Brad Haddin comes in place of Matthew Wade, Steve Smith for Shane Watson, Nathan Lyon for Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Starc for James Patinson.
