First phase of the auction of the players for the Indian Premier League 2013 was held on Sunday. A total of 37 players out of 108 were sold and bought by the 9 IPL teams. Auction for rest of the players will be carried out in coming days.
Interestingly for the first time, legendary Sachin Tendulkar will be play together with his archrival Ricky Ponting as he has been bought by Mumbai Indians.
Glen Maxwell of Australian team was the most expensive player bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 5,29,60,000.
