Australian all-rounder Moises Henriques showed a tough resistance and strong character by helping his team to survive an innings defeat in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar test match between India and Australia in Chennai.
Indian team started today's game from 515 for 8 wickets, but things quickly ended and India could only put a score of 572 taking leads of 192 runs.
Australian wickets kept on falling, as they were unable to stand the spin attack of India. Ashwin again showed superb bowling and took 5 Australian wickets at an economy rate of 3.21. Harbhajan and Jadeja took 2 wickets each.
Australian at a time were 138 for 7 but Henrique stood out to put a solid defense to Indian spinner. Henrique made 75 runs in 124 balls hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes.
At the end of Day 4, Henrique was on the crease with Nason Lyon. Australian has made 232 runs in the second innings at the loss of 9 wickets. They have a lead of 40 runs.
Australians made 380 runs in their first innings, thanks to their captain Clarke who made 130 runs. However his inning was shadowed by superb performance by Indian skipper MS Dhoni who made 224 runs and Virat Kohli who made 104 runs.
