Google is celebrating the 180th birth anniversary of the famous Cuban physician and scientist Carlos Juan Finlay. Carlos is known for his research on Mosquito and yellow fever. He was the first physician and scientist who gave the theory that yellow fever was spread by mosquitoes. Today is the 180th birth anniversary of the great Cuban physician and scientist and the Search Engine Giant Google Doodle pays tribute to him on his birthday.
Carlos Juan Finlay was born on December 3, 1833 at Camagüey, Cuba and died on August 20 1915. The great physician studied at Jefferson medical college in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He studied and researched on the causes of yellow fever and propounded the theory that yellow fever was spread by mosquitoes.
