Amid the latest controversy of Hafeez Sayed's remarks on Bollywood actor Sharukh Khan, the Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said Indian government to provide security to him.
According to sources, Rahman Malik said when he was addressing media during a reception organized by India High Commmissioner Sharat Sabharwal to mark India's Republic Day.
On the occasion, he said, "Shah Rukh was born Indian and he would like to remain the same. People of both Pakistan and India love Shah Rukh".
"Let's get together and fight against this extremism and terrorism because we are working for betterment and peace in Pakistan and India," he was qouted as saying.
It is noted that a controversy had been in air when Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed has said that Khan can move to Pakistan if he does not feel safe in India.
