Unfortunate Sushil Kumar lost the final match against Japan's Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu 1-3 in Olympic men's 66kg freestyle at London Games on Sunday. With this defeat, Sushil lost the gold medal, however he will come home with a silver medal in his name.
By winning silver medal, Sushil became the first Indian to win medals back-to-back in the Olympics ever.
Earlier on Sunday, Sushil made his position in the final dismissing Ikhtiyor Navruzov of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan’s Akzhurek Tanatarov in the quarter final and semi final respectively to secure his position for silver medal.
